Mods Library and Files
Favorites and browsing

Use the favorite button on a mod card or detail page to save it, then enable the favorites filter in the store to narrow your results. Favorites are separate from downloads and enabled mods.
In Mods Library, switch between All, Downloaded, and Installed. Search and filter the list, or switch between grid and list views. Paginated Browsing in Settings applies to both the store and library; turn it off for continuous scrolling. Settings also provides a default sort preference.
Add local mods

- Open Mods Library and choose Add Local Mod.
- Drop a file or folder into the upload area, or click it to select files.
- Use a
.vpk,.zip,.rar, or.7zsource. - Review the metadata and category. Only the name is required.
- Add the mod to the library, then select its files and enable it as needed.
The manager does not check local mods for GameBanana updates. Keep a separate copy of any custom source files you want to preserve.
For mods with bundled fonts, choose Install Fonts to install them or Skip to leave them out.
Variants and installed files
Screenshot pending: Manage Files dialog showing selected variants.
Open Manage Files from the mod's file-management button, select the archive files or variants you want, and choose Apply. Files that have not been downloaded are marked needs download.
The detail page lists installed VPK filenames and selected files. A mod may have several active variants; the Hero Skins page shows their active count. Sharded VPKs have associated files that the manager handles together.
Restart a running game
Applying file changes updates the installation. Restart Deadlock so it loads the changed files on its next launch.
Conflicts and load order
If Hero Conflict Warning is enabled in Settings, enabling another mod for the same hero can prompt you to Swap mods, Keep both, or cancel. Mods that replace the same files can still conflict if you keep both.
Use Change Mods Order in Mods Library to arrange the load order and save it. The library sorts by load order by default. Use Disable all mods to turn off the active profile's mods without individually toggling them.
See Hero Skins for per-hero assignment and the option to allow several complementary skins.
Unrecognized addons
Screenshot pending: Unrecognized addons alert with review and analyze actions.
The Unrecognized mod files found alert means addon files are not linked to library entries. Choose Analyze to try to match them with the catalog, or Review files to inspect filenames and show them in their folder.
You can delete individual unrecognized files or use Delete all. Back up anything you want to keep before deleting files from disk. Dismissing the alert only hides it until new files appear.
Replace a local mod's VPKs
When the detail page offers VPK replacement, expand the section and select or drop replacement .vpk files. For a mod with multiple VPKs, select the targets and supply the expected number of replacement files.
VPK replacement overwrites local files. Keep a copy of the originals, then restart Deadlock to test the replacement. Foundry also offers its own export destinations.
Updates, reinstalling, and context actions
Use Check for updates in Mods Library or Update Mod on a detail page to review available files. Force Update, when offered, opens the update flow even when no newer update was detected. Reinstall Mod rebuilds an installation from downloaded files.
Right-click a library mod for actions such as sharing its source URL or showing its installed files in the game folder. See Getting Started for updates, uninstalling, and backups.
Mod information and reports
A mod's detail page can include image and video galleries, audio previews, dependencies, an author changelog, and a View Original Post link. Support Author appears when donation links are available.
Read outdated, obsolete, and stale-mod notices before installing. If a mod is broken, use its broken-mod reporting action when available. The dialog can ask you to install an available update first, confirm the problem, and direct you to the author's GameBanana issues or manager support. Reporting is unavailable for some listings, including maps.
