Servers and Stats

Custom maps and Server Browser

Server Browser with HeroLock selected, ping results, requirements, and server mods

Enable Custom Maps and Server Browser under Settings → Experimental. Both are off by default on a fresh setup.

Use Maps to browse custom maps. To join a community server:

  1. Open Server Browser and refresh the list.
  2. Filter by region, game mode, players, or password status as needed.
  3. Select a server to inspect its details, ping, and required mods.
  4. Start the join flow and review the required maps and addons. Install missing requirements before connecting.
  5. Enter a password if requested, then follow the connection instructions.

The join flow can launch Deadlock, connect through Steam, or open a server's gateway. If automatic connection is unavailable, follow the manual connection instructions shown by the app.

Server-specific mods

When you join, the manager places required content in a folder for that server. Choose whether to include your active profile's mods too. Community members maintain the servers and downloads, which may become unavailable.

Launch a custom map and invite friends

How to Play This Map instructions for Jump School with console command

Download and enable a map, then open its detail page's How to Play This Map section. Use Launch Map when a map name has been detected, or follow the console instructions and copy the displayed map command. If the map name is missing, check the author's description.

After quick launch, the manager can wait for the map server to become ready and display Invite Friends with a connect command. Friends can open Deadlock's developer console (F7) and paste the command. They need the required map content installed too.

Player stats

Stats overview with winrate, KDA, souls per minute, and form chart

Enable Player Stats under Settings → Experimental, then open Stats. Select your Steam account to view available data.

The page includes Overview, Heroes, Items, Squad, and Live tabs. Stats uses deadlock-api data, so missing or delayed matches can leave gaps. You need an internet connection to fetch new data.

Match details

Open a match from Last matches on the Overview tab. The dialog shows the hero, result, date, duration, K/D/A, damage, healing, accuracy, souls, and other recorded statistics. Use the item-build timeline or play button to follow the build through the match. The transaction list shows purchases and sales. Some matches have incomplete data.

Optional Match Data Sharing

Match Data Sharing consent information and enable switch

Stats works independently of Match Data Sharing. To enable sharing, accept the consent screen during onboarding or under Settings → Privacy → Match Data Sharing.

When enabled, the app reads the Steam auto-login token already stored on your machine to fetch your own Deadlock matches through your account. The app sends match IDs and match salts to deadlock-api. It does not send your Steam token or password to that service.

Uses your Steam account

Read the consent screen before enabling sharing. It acts through your real Steam account, so the risk is low but not zero. You can turn sharing off in Settings at any time.

Use Fetch all my matches to fetch missing history. Close Deadlock first. Fetching is rate-limited to 40 requests per rolling 24 hours, and the settings page shows remaining quota and progress. A Steam connection failure or exhausted quota can delay completion.

Cached matchdata ingestion

The Matchdata Ingest Tool is a separate Application setting for scanning local Steam matchdata cache files and sending match data to the API. Turning off Steam-account Match Data Sharing does not turn off this separate setting. See Settings and Recovery for both controls.
