Background Plugin
The Background plugin allows you to set custom background images with opacity and blur effects.
Features
- Custom Background Images: Set any image as application background
- Multiple Sources: Use online URLs or upload local files
- Opacity Control: Adjust transparency (0-100%)
- Blur Effects: Apply blur effects (0-20px)
- Sidebar Toggle: Include/exclude sidebar from background
Usage
Enabling the Plugin
- Go to Settings → Plugins
- Find "Background" plugin
- Click "Enable"
- Click "Open" to configure
Interface Overview
Adding Background Images
Online Image URL
- Enter direct image URL in "Image URL" field
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG
Local Image File
- Click "Choose Image"
- Select image from your computer
- Image is automatically processed
Adjusting Effects
- Opacity: 0% (invisible) to 100% (opaque)
- Blur: 0px (sharp) to 20px (blurred)
- Sidebar: Toggle to include/exclude sidebar
Recommended Settings
Subtle Background
Opacity: 15-25%
Blur: 3-5px
Include Sidebar: OffArtistic Background
Opacity: 30-50%
Blur: 8-15px
Include Sidebar: OnTroubleshooting
Background Not Appearing
- Verify plugin is enabled
- Check image URL is valid
- Try different image source
Performance Issues
- Optimize image file size
- Reduce opacity settings
- Use smaller image dimensions
