Background Plugin

The Background plugin allows you to set custom background images with opacity and blur effects.

Background Plugin – Overview

Features

  • Custom Background Images: Set any image as application background
  • Multiple Sources: Use online URLs or upload local files
  • Opacity Control: Adjust transparency (0-100%)
  • Blur Effects: Apply blur effects (0-20px)
  • Sidebar Toggle: Include/exclude sidebar from background

Usage

Enabling the Plugin

  1. Go to Settings → Plugins
  2. Find "Background" plugin
  3. Click "Enable"
  4. Click "Open" to configure

Adding Background Images

Online Image URL

  1. Enter direct image URL in "Image URL" field
  2. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, SVG

Local Image File

  1. Click "Choose Image"
  2. Select image from your computer
  3. Image is automatically processed

Adjusting Effects

  • Opacity: 0% (invisible) to 100% (opaque)
  • Blur: 0px (sharp) to 20px (blurred)
  • Sidebar: Toggle to include/exclude sidebar

Subtle Background

Opacity: 15-25%
Blur: 3-5px
Include Sidebar: Off

Artistic Background

Opacity: 30-50%
Blur: 8-15px
Include Sidebar: On

Troubleshooting

Background Not Appearing

  • Verify plugin is enabled
  • Check image URL is valid
  • Try different image source

Performance Issues

  • Optimize image file size
  • Reduce opacity settings
  • Use smaller image dimensions
